I’d love to see photos of your silk paintings and find out about what’s inspired you to paint on silk.

The journey to painting on silk is so different for each of us – I learnt this amazing ancient French skill in Paris, France in the 1980s, and have many stories to tell about living there 🙂 For example, I’m an Australian, and I was living in Los Angeles when I met an American silk artist who lived in Paris. We fell in love, and I went to live with him — and Paris became my spiritual home, the one place in the world where I feel totally at peace, and at home (so far!).

I’m living back in Australia now after travelling to and living in many locations, and silk painting was something I could do wherever I lived. Such a joy to be able to do so!
