Hello and welcome to a Mini Art Studio Tour with Teena Hughes!
Today in my Studio I was having my morning coffee and as I looked around my gorgeous space, I had to smile at the bright spots, the fabulously bright hand-painted silk, the gifts from friends, the treasures collected around the world over many years.
And it all makes me feel so HAPPY 🙂
So it got me thinking … what do YOU have around you to inspire you when you’re being creative? Do you have a space set aside, or a Studio? What helps to make your creative time even more enjoyable?
I’d love to hear, drop me a note in the Comments below, or post on Facebook or Youtube if you prefer.
What’s in the Mini Art Studio Tour with Teena Hughes video?
In the video, I show some of my favourite items:

Above: my favourite Paris suitcase, and a silk painting I did of Tutankhamun using yellow silk dye, and gold gutta (“gootah”) outlines. This painting was done in 1989, and is starting to show signs of wear, but I still love it xox

Above: a wind chime, my talking Monkey, Afro Guy, and two jointed wooden models, with an acrylic painting I did of a hot pink Starfish in the background 🙂
Have you heard my Silk Painting Podcasts yet?
I answer questions sent in via email, the website Contact form, Facebook, Youtube etc — I’d love to know what you think, and if you have any questions you’d like me to answer, please fill in the Comments form below xx
